Para la ruta de hoy tuvimos varios estimados del tiempo: 7:00 h, 5:00 h, 4:00 h y 2:30 h, entonces además de la salida tardía mucha incertidumbre.
Descubrimos que las postales están en desuso, pero encontramos al caballero Ledesma, fotógrafo legendario de Popayán. Nos deleitamos con su fotografía antigua y terminamos la sesión tomándole una foto con un celular.
La temida ruta terminó siendo maravillosa, paisaje rico, ocupación baja y uno que otro loco haciendo de las suyas en el camino.
Today´s journey was delightful: the estimates of trip time were wildly varied (from a maximum of 7 hours to 2-1/2(!)). We left Popayán later than planned; after a lengthy (and fruitless) search for postcards, we encountered Sr Ledesma, and wonderful gentlemen with a huge range of photographs of Popayán and its people.
The trip was actually 6-1/2 hours, with an expensive lunch stop (14,000 COP (about $7) for a huge lunch for two), and a brief conversation with a group of cyclists travelling from Alaska to Argentina (!). Arrived in Pasto just before dark, the final ascent being steep and slow...

Veo esa calle de la Ermita, hermosa como siempre.... la calle de mi historia y de mis hijos.... pero no me da nostalgia!!!!!
