After having recovered the use of our bodies we could head for the falls of Moconá; route 2 is perfectly paved and within the park the descent to the river is cobbled.
The story goes: the bed of the river Uruguay at this point has a width of about 250 m, in the centre of which there is a rocky canyon of 2.5 Km in length. The waters on the west side of the river drain into the canyon and then downriver, providing a spectacle which varies according to the height of the river. These falls are unusual in that the falls are along the axis of the river and not across it. When the river is in flood, the entire bed is full and there are no falls.
When the water level is low, it is possible to take a walkway to the end of the falls to see them, however when the level is high this area is flooded and so the only option is to take a launch to navigage upstream below the falls and so this is what we did
Filled with delight at the spectacle, we left for Leandro N. Alem, ate at "Tio Cesar" and rested to be ready to enjoy the river downstream the following day. It was our last day in Argentina after many entries and departures; Brasil for the next three months!
Besos

PS. today we fixed the damage from yesterday's travel on route 21, only one protection panel broken; as you can see, Marce submitting to forced labour.
