Desde Tucumán hasta Córdoba / From Tucumán to Córdoba.

Este viaje dura tres días, en el primero hacemos 525 kilómetros y nuestras ruta inicia con este paisaje, que permanece casi inalterado (Un árbol más o un árbol menos en la distancia) por 500 km.

This trip took three days, the first part was 525 Km, initially in this scenery, which continued unchanged (plus or minus a distant tree) for 500 Km.

Los últimos 25 km, corresponde a este nuevo paisaje, en las sierras cordobesas, y constituye la antesala de nuestra llegada a la Cumbre, una villa importante a los cordobeses por su tranquilidad y belleza. Para nosotros un lugar singular, totalmente quieto hasta del 8:30 p.m., algunas tiendas abriendo al rededor de las 6:00 y en general un lugar que evoca un sentido extranjero de existencia.

For the last 25 Km, a new environment announced our proximity to La Cumbre, a place valued by the inhabitants of Córdoba for its tranquillity and beauty. For us, it was a place most singular; totally quiet until 2030h, with a few stores opening around 1800h, evoking a strange sense of being somewhere else.

El día siguiente (por demás indicar que era el día de mi cumpleaños, salimos rumbo a Santa Catalina, Jesus María y Córdoba. Después de 20 minutos de ruta encontramos una centro de rehabilitación de monos aulladores, así que decidimos visitar el proyecto.

The following day (furthermore Marce´s birthday) we continued to Santa Catalina, Jesus María, and Córdoba. After 20 minutes we came upon a rehabilitation centre for howler monkeys, and so we decided to stop for a visit.

Estos monos han sido rescatado del tráfico de especies y llegan al centro con diversas experiencias para iniciar su proceso de vida en libertad. Están organizados en 4 grupos y habitan libremente cuatro áreas protegidas.

These monkeys have been rescued from the trade in animals, and arrive at the centre with a variety of experience, to start their life at liberty. They are in four groups, and live freely in four different protected areas.

Con ellos habitan varios tipos de aves, todas las incluidas estaban en este mismo lugar.

Also in this area live various birds, all those shown are resident in the centre.

Siguiendo a Santa Catalina, visitamos la Estancia Jesuítica, cuando preguntamos sobre la posibilidad de refrescarnos en la Ranchería que forma parte de la Estancia, encontramos el lugar encantador. Los propietarios fueron muy acogedores y elegimos pasar la noche allí, hubo músicos locales en la cena y pudimos celebrar el cumpleaños de Marce adecuadamente.

Continuing to Santa Catalina, we visited the Jesuit Estancia; when we enquired about the possibility of refreshment at the Rancheria which is part of the Estancia, we found the place enchanting. The owners were most welcoming, and we elected to stay for the night, which included local musicians at dinner, and allowed us to celebrate Marce´s birthday appropriately.

Al día siguiente, fuimos a Jesus María, otra de las estancias de la zona, en donde pudimos comprender un poco más de la acción de los Jesuitas en tiempos coloniales.

The next day we went to Jesus Maria, another "Estancia" where we could understand more of the action of the Jesuits in colonial times.
