Camaná nos recibió con fiesta / a reception in Camaná

Salimos rumbo a Camana, un lugar pequeño cerca al mar y que seleccionamos como punto de descanso en la ruta a Arequipa. Fueron 6 1/2 h por el desierto (mejor por un Chorro de Arena), sin embargo sus variaciones hicieron posible disfrutar esta correría.

We left for Camaná, a small town near the coast, chosen as an overnight stop on the way to Arequipa. We were 6-1/2 hours in the desert (better described as sandblaster), notwithstanding the variation in scenery maintained our interest in the route.

Al principio la niebla nos recordó el viaje desde Trujillo, pronto el paisaje cambió y aparecieron los juegos de la arena.

Initially the coastal mist reminded us of the trip from Trujillo, soon the scenery changed and manifestations of a sand environment appeared.

Entramos en una maquina natural para limpieza con chorro de arena, que además de hacer más difícil la visibilidad, hizo una marca imborrable en las exploradoras.

We entered a natural sandblaster, which not only made visibility more difficult, but also left permanent evidence of its efficiency on the auxiliary lights.

Llegando a Puerto Inca, un lugar cerca de Chala con Hotel y Ruinas Pre Incas, aparece el pacífico: intenso, voluptuoso y frío.

Arriving at Puerto Inca, near Chala, with a hotel and pre-Inca ruins, appeared the Pacific, intense, voluptuous, and cold.

Las ruinas, corresponden a la cultura Churajona y luego fueron ocupadas por los Incas, se trata de un lugar de trabajo asociado con la producción pesquera. La foto corresponde al lugar de secado y almacenamiento de pescado y el sitio se caracteriza por abundancia de pozos para el almacenamiento de vivieres. Toda la construcción es en piedra pegada con mezcla de arenas, cenizas y conchas trituradas.

The ruins, of the Churajona culture, and later taken over by the Incas, were a place used for drying and storage of fish. The photo shows the place where fish were dried, and around the site are abundant storage wells. All of the construction is of stone, with cement of sand, ashes, and crushed shells.

Pasando Chala, el paisaje es rocoso, curvo y ondulante.

Once past Chala, the scenery is rocky, tortuous, and undulating.

Luego predomina la arena ... como se ve en la foto.

Subsequently appeared the sand (again)... as seen here.

Nuevamente, arena a la derecha, a la izquierda y al frente.

Once again, sand to the right of them, sand to the left of them, into the valley...etc.

PD - cuando llegamos en Camaná, nuestro hotel tenia una fiesta en progreso, entonces tuvimos mariachi y otras formas de música hasta 2 de la mañana, Sin embargo, descansamos bien.

PS - when we arrived in Camaná, our hotel was hosting a fiesta, such that we enjoyed mariachi and various other styles of music until 2 in the morning. Notwithstanding, we slept well.
