Cahuachi is a ceremonial centre of the Nazca Culture, located in the middle of the desert. The scenery as we made our way there reminded Alan of Botswana.

When we arrived at the site, we were astonished by a pyramid much bigger than our expectations. The pyramid is in restoration and investigation, and so it was not possible to enter the principal area. However we had excellent views of the area from a path with viewpoints, which passed through ruins not yet in restoration.

Por el camino periferico y con asistencia de nuestro guia, Andrés, pudimos entender la forma de construcción y los mecanismos para almacenar Agua y alimentos.
On this route, and with assistance from our guide, Andrés, we could understand the construction techniques, and the systems used to store food and water.

Besos,
Alan & Marce
